Purpose

The Adaptive Sports Special Interest Group (SIG) focuses on advancing knowledge of the physically challenged athlete and the field of adaptive sports. This SIG brings together like-minded individuals with an interest in the treatment of individuals no matter the disability. We keep our members informed of developments, trends, and activities available in the world of adaptive sports programming in the United States and share ideas for treatments to advance the rehabilitation of this unique population of athletes.
