Kiersten McCartney, PT, DPT, MS
Dr. Kiersten McCartney, PT, DPT, is a recent graduate from the University of Delaware Department of Physical Therapy and will be continuing her journey within the field at UD, pursuing her PhD in Biomechanics and Human Movement Sciences under the mentorship of Dr. Darcy Reisman. My passion lies where Sports and Neurorehabilitation intersect, and have a passion for Adaptive Sports and expanding the Paralympic Movement to communities across the country. Through community involvement, clinical work, and research, I aim to facilitate the engagement of people with disabilities in physical activity, exercise, and sport, and I want to reduce and remove barriers within the community and healthcare system for them to do so.
