Nomination Procedures - Outstanding SIG Chair Award 

  1. Any member of the AASPT may nominate candidates for the award. A member may self-nominate. One (1) award will generally be given in any year. 

  2. All nominations should be submitted online through the Academy's website. Please do not submit materials via mail or email. 

  3. Nomination packets must include:

    1. Completed online nomination form; 

    2. Current and complete curriculum vitae of the nominee; 

    3. Letter of support from person nominating the member not to exceed two (2) pages; and,

    4. Letters from two (2) individuals who can specifically address one or more of the criteria for selection, not to exceed two (2) pages.   

  4. Please have all materials completed and collected when completing the award application.  There is no way to save applications in-process so please ensure you have all materials compiled before starting the application. 

The Awards Team Coordinator will notify the recipient of the award and obtain written confirmation of acceptance. The name of the recipient will be kept confidential until announced.
